Parental Burnout Report
Researchers at The Ohio State University College of Nursing had conducted a study on parental burnout during the COVID-19 pandemic. When this research was pitched to the Today Show, I was tasked with producing a print and digital report under a tight deadline.

The approach
My team received a last minute request to design a report, both print and digital, when the Today Show expressed interest in airing the study. Under a tight deadline while juggling multiple projects, I designed a report that was presented on the show. I also created an interactive and accessible online PDF of the report where readers can test themselves for burnout. The full report can be viewed here.
The importance of accessibility
At The Ohio State University, we strive to design online documents that meet digital accessibility requirements. With the knowledge that this report will be shared nationally, digital accessibility was all the more important. Due to the interactive element of this report, creating an accessible document proved to be a difficult challenge that I was able to overcome through research and a willingness to learn.
Promotion
In addition to being hosted on the Today Show and their website, I also created social graphics and a flier for further promotion of the research study.
